WHY US FOR ALUMINIUM SLAT FENCING
HORIZONTALS SHOW EVERY MISTAKE
A slat fence out of level by five millimetres over a long run is obvious from the street. We set out carefully and check as we go, which is slower and worth it.

Front boundary fences in NSW are generally capped at 1.2 metres under the exempt development rules, and in some setbacks they have to be partly transparent. Better to know before you fall in love with a design.

Under the NSW exempt development rules, fences along a primary or secondary road boundary are generally limited to 1.2 metres. In a secondary road setback the fence also has to be at least 20 per cent transparent above 400 millimetres, with no solid piers wider than 350 millimetres. Anything higher usually needs approval.
